SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT:
Find (or make) a couple of any-sized orphan blocks, in solids, if possible - we’ll use the one which will work the best. OR bring a piece of fabric with a large, fabulous motif OR plan to use a piece of black fabric for a striking silhouette.
Bring your own or shop the store for solids, ombres, or subtle prints and cut a dozen or more different 5” squares OR a dozen 2 1/2” or wider strips.
9”x12” (or so) piece of fusible.
1/2 yard of a solid to coordinate (or white), a yard of batting and a yard of backing.
Small (6”?) square ruler (if you cut squares) and a 5x24” ruler or similar.
