In this workshop, Kaffe has taken a traditional snowball and made it fabulous simply by the use of color.  Keep this in mind when choosing fabrics: find your color and don’t stray too far from it, keep your choices harmonious. For example, if you would like to explore RED, bring reds, oranges, reddish purples, magenta, warm brown, etc.

For the hexagons, bring ¼ to ½ yard cuts of 20 or so different large-scale fabrics in the color story of your choosing. For the points, you may wish to wait and purchase fabrics at the workshop after you have set up your hexagons. The quilt is more successful if the points colorway is different from your hexagon colorway. The points create a frame and set off the hexagons.

If you are not sure how you are going to proceed, that’s okay. You can bring your stash favorites and be prepared to shop with Kaffe and Brandon at the workshop. Please feel free to bring any fabrics you would like to use to the workshop - these do not have to be Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics.

Included in the workshop are: your own Kaffe Fassett flannel grid wall, Succulent Hexagon Combo Acrylic Templates, and lunch.
