Kay Buffington is one of the best educators and certainly one of the most influential, as she has turned many new students into avid quilters!  In this class she will lead you through the process of making this square quilt, which measures 60" x 60".  Of course, you can make the quilt larger if you desire.
You can use 2 1/2" jelly roll strips or strips that you cut from your own stash.  You will need to have 36 of these strips.  The background fabric can white or soft cream color.

Prior to class you will nee to do the following:
Using your 2 1/2" strips, cut 2 of the following:
2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
2 1/2" x 6 1/2"
2 1/2" x 8 1/2"

The background fabric will be referred to as B in the pattern.  From each one and half inch strip cut the following:
1 1/2" x 2 1/2"
1 1/2" x 3 1/2"
1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
1 1/2" x 8 1/2"
