This Beginner’s Quilt Class is the first in a three-part series. Students will learn about fabric preparation, including thread, needles, and batting; accurate rotary cutting and measuring; and making an Ohio Star Block with consistent ¼” seams. The course covers pressing techniques, pattern reading, assembling quilt blocks, adding borders, squaring up the top for layering and binding, and an overview of quilting tools, machine threading, fabric selection, and required materials. This is an easy, quick and simple way to start your quilting journey.
