How to Die Cut Holiday Medley Shapes

For fusible appliqué, apply fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric, following the manufacturer's instructions, before cutting.

• Snowflake: Cut and fuse 4⅞" × 5½" rectangles. Cut 7 snowflakes across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 49 snowflakes.
• Tree: Cut and fuse 5" × 5½" rectangles. Cut 7 trees across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 49 trees.
• Holly Leaf: Cut and fuse 2½" × 3¾" rectangles. Cut 10 holly leaves across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 140 holly leaves.
• Berry Circles: Place scraps on the blade and cut.

Die Tips

• With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet – simply snip with scissors.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
• Use good quality fabric to reduce stretch.
• Always test cut one shape before cutting many to confirm fabric orientation.
• Clean lint and threads with an adhesive roller or die pick. Blades never need sharpening.
