+Most repairs and maintenance typically take 2-3 weeks. We'll provide you with an estimated completion date when you drop off your machine. For urgent repairs, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
+Yes! We stand behind everything we service.
- Repairs: 90-day warranty. If the same issue we repaired reoccurs within this period, we'll fix it at no additional cost.
- New Machines: Full manufacturer warranty included with purchase
How much does a typical repair cost?

Can you repair vintage or older sewing machines?
+Yes, our technicians are experienced with vintage and antique machines. We suggest bringing your machine in for an evaluation first. Often we can repair older machines, but some may be challenging if they require hard-to-find parts or have brittle plastic components. We'll evaluate your machine and provide honest feedback about repair possibilities and cost-effectiveness before any work begins.
Do I need an appointment for repairs?
+No appointment is needed. Simply come in during store hours and we'll assist you with advice and get your service started right away. You can also call your nearest location if you have questions before bringing in your machine.
What should I bring when dropping off my machine?
+Please bring:
- Your machine with its power cord and foot control
- A bobbin and bobbin case
- Standard presser foot
- Any specialty feet you use (buttonhole, embroidery, etc.)
- For embroidery machines: embroidery unit and a standard hoop
- A sample of the thread you typically use
