Aurifil Thread — Italian Cotton for Quilters Who Care About Quality

Aurifil is made in Italy from 100% Egyptian cotton — lint-free, strong, and available in more colors than any other cotton thread brand we carry. It's the first thread our staff reaches for when someone asks what to use in a Bernina or Baby Lock, and it's what our instructors run in classes at all three stores.

50wt is the everyday standard for piecing and machine quilting — fine enough to disappear into seams while staying strong under pressure. 40/3 is Aurifil's 3-ply construction: slightly heavier with more body, a favorite for longarm quilting and quilting lines you want to show.

We also carry Aurifil designer collections — curated thread sets from names like Tula Pink and Kaffe Fassett, plus Pat Sloan's Perfect Neutrals box. Available in-store in Jupiter, Naples, and Sarasota, FL, and shipped anywhere online.
