Recommended Machine Settings

Basic Usage Instructions

• Snap on the Cover/Chain Stitch Foot and set the machine for the desired stitch.
• Raise the presser foot and place fabric underneath.
• To use ribbon/tape, insert it into the front guide slot and under the foot.
• Lower the presser foot and turn the handwheel to create 2–3 starter stitches.
• Sew slowly to begin, trimming excess threads as needed.
• Avoid pushing/pulling fabric—allow the serger to feed naturally.
• Not recommended over heavy seams; trim bulk beforehand.
