Which Quilters Dream Batting Is Right for You?

Request vs. Select: Request is a low loft batting with a soft, drapey feel — ideal for hand quilting, wall hangings, and quilts destined for warmer climates. Select is a mid loft with slightly more dimension and body, perfect for machine quilting where you want a little more definition in your stitching.

Cotton: Quilters Dream Cotton is 100% pure cotton with no scrim. It breathes beautifully, softens with every wash, and produces that classic, flat, heirloom look that hand quilters love. No prewashing required.

80/20 Cotton/Poly Blend: The 80/20 blend gives you the natural feel of cotton with added stability and less shrinkage. A favorite for machine quilters and longarm quilters who want consistent results across a large quilt.

Bamboo: Quilters Dream Bamboo is luxuriously soft, naturally breathable, and wonderful for baby quilts, lap quilts, and anyone who wants something a step beyond cotton. It has a subtle sheen and drapes beautifully.

Wool: Warm yet lightweight, Quilters Dream Wool batting is made from a blend of domestic and Merino wool. It requires no prewashing, has a wonderful loft that recovers beautifully, and is a favorite for hand quilters and anyone making quilts for cooler climates.

Fusible: Need your batting to stay put during quilting? Quilters Dream Fusible lines fuse directly to your quilt top and backing with a warm iron — no pinning or basting required. Available in 80/20 blend.

Puff: Extra-high loft for maximum dimension. Ideal for tied quilts, cozy throws, and any project where you want maximum warmth and fluffiness.
