GO! Apple Core Die
Apple Core quilts are timeless, but cutting those smooth curves by hand is anything but easy. The GO! Apple Core Die takes the frustration out of curved piecing by delivering perfectly consistent shapes every time — no templates, no tracing, and no guesswork.
Designed to work seamlessly with your AccuQuilt GO! Fabric Cutter, this die allows you to cut Apple Core shapes quickly and accurately so you can focus on sewing and design instead of prep work.
Cutting Requirements
AQ Cutting Mat Required: GO! Cutting Mat – 6" × 12" (15.2 cm × 30.4 cm)
How to Die Cut Apple Core Shapes
- For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
- Cut fabric pieces large enough to fully cover the Apple Core blade area.
- Place fabric over the die and position the cutting mat on top.
- Run the die, fabric, and cutting mat through the cutter in one smooth pass.
- Remove perfectly cut Apple Core shapes, ready for curved piecing.

AccuQuilt Cutting Benefits
- Cut so much more fabric in less time.
- Get accurate cuts every time — no slipping rulers or measuring mistakes.
- Easiest to use — place die on cutter, add fabric and cutting mat, then cut.
- Save fabric with Two-Tone Foam — place fabric only over the shape you want to cut.
- Safe to use — blades are embedded in the die, away from your fingers.
Die Tips
- With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle — align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the die board.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce stretch and distortion.
- Always test cut one shape before cutting many to confirm fabric orientation.
