How to Die Cut Arabesque #2 Shapes

• Apply fusible web to the wrong side of fabric following the manufacturer’s instructions before cutting for fusible appliqué.
• Cut and fuse 7 5/8" × 7 3/4" rectangles.
• Cut five arabesque shapes across the width of fabric.
• One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts up to 20 arabesque shapes.

Die Tips

• Some fabrics may leave a few threads where blades meet — simply snip with scissors.
• Align fabric with the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
• Use good-quality fabric to reduce stretch.
• Test cut one shape before cutting multiples to ensure correct orientation.
