How to Die Cut Baby Medley Shapes

• Apply fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric following the manufacturer’s instructions before cutting for fusible appliqué.
• Place fabric on the die with right sides together to cut pairs.
• Onesie: Cut and fuse one 5¾" × 4¼" rectangle. Place on the blade and cut. Cut 9 onesies across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 54 onesies.
• Bottle Base: Cut and fuse one 2⅝" × 3⅝" rectangle. Place on the blade and cut. Cut 11 bottle bases across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 143 bases.
• Foot / Sole: Cut and fuse one 2⅞" × 4¼" rectangle. Place on the blade and cut. Cut 9 feet/soles across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 108 pieces.
• Bottle Top & Rim, Big Toe & Toes: Place fabric scraps on the blade and cut.

Die Tips

• Some fabrics may leave a thread or two where die blades meet — snip with scissors.
• Blades on some dies are angled. Align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the die board.
• Use good-quality fabric to reduce stretch and distortion.
• Always test cut one shape before cutting many to confirm fabric orientation.
