Die Tips

  • With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet after cutting. Snip these threads with scissors.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle – always align fabric with the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
  • Use good quality quilting fabric to reduce stretch and distortion.
  • Always test cut one shape before cutting many to ensure your fabric orientation and grain direction are correct.
