Cuddle® Up with BERNINA 1 - Sarasota

Join us in Sarasota for this cozy 2-day event on November 19th & 20th from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Who doesn't love snuggling with Cuddle® fabric? If you're curious but haven't taken the leap, join us for a 2-day special event where you'll create three projects!

Or perhaps you've been eyeing that new BERNINA L8 serger ... and just aren't sure ... come and try it out with these fun projects!

Day 1:

• Learn about Cuddle® fabric and the BERNINA L8 sergers
• Create a beginner-friendly infinity scarf

Day 2:

• Advance your skills with a luxurious lap or baby blanket
• Construct a coordinating envelope-style pillow

After this event, you will:

• Feel comfortable threading and operating the BERNINA L8 sergers
• Confidently use serging to maximize sewing time
• Understand different Cuddle® fabrics
• Know practical tips and techniques for working with the fabric
• Take home three beautiful projects!

What's Included:

• Use of a BERNINA L8 series serger (shared between two students)

• Silver and Black permanent markers
• Seam ripper
• Small ruler similar to a 1”x12"
• Snips
• Pins
• Hand sewing needle
• Optional: Magnetic Pin Cushion
• Optional: Stiletto
