Hoop it Up! Apron - August
Join Mary Hayes in Sarasota on August 13 from 10 am - 2 pm
Get ready to stitch something fun, functional, and a little cheeky in this hands-on embroidery class! In Just Roll With It! Embroidered Apron, students will create a custom embroidered apron featuring the playful design “Just Roll With It” while learning key machine embroidery techniques.
This class focuses on design placement, stabilizing and stitching larger wearable items, and working with fabric that requires special handling. You’ll learn how to confidently position your design, prepare your project for stitching, and keep everything aligned for a smooth embroidery process.
Whether you’re new to machine embroidery or building on your skills, this project is a great way to practice precision while keeping things creative and fun. You’ll leave with a finished apron and the confidence to take on larger embroidery projects.
All embroidery machines are welcome.
A required Materials Fee will be collected the day of class.
Materials Fee Includes:
• Project digital design file
• Stabilizers for one hooping
Apron Options:
• Students may purchase an apron from the shop
• Students may also bring their own plain apron suitable for embroidery
Skill Level: Must know how your sewing machine and embroidery module work.
