Jelly Roll Wonder with Kay Buffington

Learn how to cut and sew stripes in order to make blocks.  This class is for the intermediate quilter.  There will be a pattern available for purchase starting in December.

Using the jelly roll or 40 - 2.5" strips, to make squares ending up with 12.  The squares are used in the border of the project as well.

Skill Level:  Intermediate

Arrive 15 minutes before class starts

Pattern

Sewing machine, power cord, foot pedal

Have sewing machine threaded with a Neutral Aurafil Thead

Fill Bobbin with thread

Scissors, seam ripper, straight pins

Cutting mat, 6" plastic ruler, rotary cutter

From your jelly roll, chose 6 sets of 6 strips and safety pin at the top of each set

Know where your 1/4" is either by using a foot, or by moving the needle.
