Flash Sew & Quilt is honored to host an exclusive hands-on workshop with renowned designers Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably during their 2026 U.S. Tour—right here in Sarasota.

The workshop is based on the Orchard quilt pattern in Kaffe Fassett's book, Quilts at an English Manor House.  This is a variation of the very first quilt, Rosie, Kaffe designed 30 years ago.  Kaffe and Brandon use the most of this class time to teach about the selection and arrangement of fabrics, to develop each participant's own sense of color to help you make your own original designs.  NO SEWING takes place during the class.  No machines are needed.

This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from two of th emost influential figures in the world of color, fabric, and design.  These intimate, hands-on workshops are designed as a truly exclusive experience, limited to just 20 participatns, allowing for meaningful, hands-on instruction and personal interaction with both Kaffe and Brandon.

You'll be immersed with them in their creative process, gaining insights into their approach to color, composition, and design while working on your own project.  This is much more than just a class, it's an experience that will transform how you see and use fabric.
