Beginner / Intro to Rope Bowl - Naples July

Join Lisa Curt in Naples on July 10th for an introduction to rope bowl making.

Students will be introduced to the basics of rope sewing on the machine. They will learn intro basics (tools, materials, techniques, recommendations). They will sew cotton rope and make two small key rings, two coasters or one trivet, and a small rope bowl. Optional techniques may be added, depending on time, such as adding decorative stitching and thread effects, wrapped rope and two or three basic finishes. Students will take home either two finished coasters and a small rope bowl, or one trivet and a small rope bowl, along with a printed supply sheet and helpful tips.
