This confident beginner-intermediate level class focuses on shaping and constructing rope bowl teacups using a variety of finishing approaches. You may choose from fabric-wrapped, decorative stitch, or double-rope construction styles while creating a functional teacup and saucer set.
We’ll focus on shaping, proportion, handle attachment, and decorative stitching. You may also choose to add a permanent or removable pincushion insert for sewing-room use.
You Will Learn How To: * Shape and build a rope teacup and saucer set * Create and attach a rope handle * Explore fabric wrapping, decorative stitching, or double-rope construction techniques
Take Home Project: One to three small teacup rope bowls, approximately 4-5 inches wide x 2-3 inches high. Final size and shape will vary based on individual shaping and technique.
