Rope Oval Charging Caddy - Naples

This intermediate class focuses on shaping a structured oval basket with vertical sides and an optional side cut-out. Style options include natural rope, decorative stitching, or two-color combinations. A variety of finishing details will be demonstrated.

Students will learn how to:

• Shape and control an oval base
• Build vertical walls on a non-round form
• Plan and sew an optional side cut-out
• Join rope ends mid-project for a clean finish

Core Project / Class Title: Oval Charging Caddy – Oval basket with optional side cut-out. Use it as a charging caddy, remote holder, bread tray, or everyday catchall—ideal for kitchen, desk, or bedside use.

Take Home Project: One completed oval basket (approx. 11” x 6” x 2”) with optional side cut-out. Final size and shape will vary depending on machine and shaping technique.
